KiSS Technology A/S was established November 1994, and has in less than 8 years established itself as one of the leading developers of Receivers for DVB and broadband Internet.
At KiSS Technology Innovation's R&D Centre in Hørsholm, Denmark, a team of engineers is planning and engineering tomorrow's communications technology.
In the next few years millions of people and companies will do all they can to be seen on the global electronic web: the Internet. Producers of texts, images and sound are competing to offer consumers their goods and articles in digital form via the Internet, to be served up on the PC or television.
Since KiSS Technology's products make it possible to fuse the functions of the PC and TV, KiSS Technology will play a central role in the coming years' development.
At KiSS Technology it is our clear ambition to put our mark on the global communication boom, which will characterise the 21st century. Our aim is to develop communication technologies, which are faster, better and cheaper to use for both companies and people, and at the same time to create a company, which is developing constantly. KiSS Technology is using the basis of the technology that has been created in connection with KiSS SATDEM, a digital satellite and terrestrial modem, which is the company's profile product. The digital DVB receiver for PC's enables the end-user to receive hundreds of TV and radio stations in digital quality as well as getting high-speed Internet access.
As a result of the further development of KiSS SATDEM, KiSS technology now makes the central chip, Silicon M, used in solutions for USB units and other external devices.
KiSS Technology future business activities are based on a continuation of the constant and efficient product development that characterises the company. With its R&D department in the company's headquarters in Hørsholm and a close collaboration on R&D with the associated partner MbyN Inc., Korea, KiSS Technology thus commands development resources that go far beyond what the company's size would normally support. The ongoing expansion of the internal R&D department is going to make KiSS Technology Innovation an even stronger partner in both the technology-heavy solutions and the more traditional products. By virtue of its large technical staff and technological expertise, KiSS Technology has become involved in a number of projects created by customers.
